For the week of July 20th-26th, we are planning a men’s rebuild trip to Burnsville, NC, a main area affected by Hurricane Helene in 2024. For volunteers’ convenience, we are providing this trip in two segments, though all volunteers are welcome to stay the whole week.

Rebuilding Halls Chapel Baptist Church:
Pastor Holt Whitson’s church was destroyed by the flood waters of Hurricane Helene. The primary focus of this trip will be completing the framing for the new church building. Pastor Whitson shares about his needs in this Facebook video.

Group transportation leaves from Garden Chapel, Middletown, PA on the first day of the trip. If you are not planning to leave on the first day, you will need to provide your own transportation.
Dorm-style lodging provided by CIT (Center for Intercultural Ministry) in Union Mills, NC.
There is no cost to join the trip.
Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on this trip.
